Module 1: Post Event Review – You thought it was over!

The most successful regional events have a very robust post event review process.

They invest time and resources into doing this well because it keeps their event current, it shows visitors and stakeholders that they are listening, and it keeps the event fresh. It is also required to access sponsorship and government support.

In this module we share practical tips and advice on how to manage the post event review process efficiently, and how to get the best outcomes from the process.

Outcomes

  • You’ll gain an appreciation for the importance of the post event review process, and why it should not be overlooked.

  • You’ll understand your why!

  • You’ll learn about data collection techniques and how to use data to support event development and growth.

Parkes Elvis Festival, NSW

How an event review keeps your event successful.jpg

INTERVIEW WITH EVENT MANAGER CATHY TREASURE

The friendly environment which Parkes has worked so hard to maintain over the years is what sets this event apart from other music festivals. Everyone is truly there to have a good time. After all, how much trouble can someone in an Elvis costume cause before it verges on comical?

The rigorous post event review process undertaken by the event is what allows the team to maintain success.
