Business for Good: rEVENTS Academy supporting regional and rural communities



This year at rEVENTS Academy we decided to do more to contribute to the regional, rural and remote communities we work with. 

rEVENTS Academy have established a donation program to match donations made through our fundraising page to the Small & Vital stream of the Foundation for Regional and Rural Renewal’s (FRRR) Strengthening Rural Communities fund.

Small & Vital grants fund a broad range of community-led initiatives in communities of under 15,000 residents. Recent event recipients of Small & Vital grants include

  • Tenterfield Autumn Festival & Eat Street

  • Bundarra Show

  • National Carriage Driving Championships

  • Laura Fair

  • Back to Lake Goldsmith and Stockyard Hill 160th anniversary celebrations

  • Events held at Tallangatta and Natimuk Showgrounds and Highlands Community Hall

This donation program is part of rEVENTS Academy’s ongoing business for good initiatives, including reducing emissions, and inspiring and enabling others in the tourism and events industries to do so as well.
