About
A small team of Council event staff from the Yass Valley joined other participants from across regional Australia to improve their event management skills in one of our 7-week intensive courses in 2022.
Council had identified that a number of events in the region were fading away due to a lack of volunteers. In fact, this is the region’s biggest weakness in terms of events. But the region’s biggest strength is how many event organisers there are – this is exciting!

Council staff joined the course as they wanted to develop a regional toolbox to help local event organisers.
