7 Week Regional Event Management Training Program

Delivered as a seven-week-long facilitated and interactive online training program, this program is a convenient way to improve your event management skills in a flexible learning environment, together with peers.

With 10 training modules, the program covers everything about event planning and delivery - and much of the hard work has been done for you!


Inclusions

Core learning elements

  • Live webinar sessions

  • Each module has a series of three on-demand pre-recorded training lesson videos

  • Each module contains resources, case studies, tools and templates to help you action your learnings

  • Links are provided to further support and extend your learning (include readings, podcasts and blog articles)

  • Each course participant is invited to interact within a closed Facebook Group to allow for Q&A sessions, discussion, interaction, networking and involvement with other event organisers.

At the end of the program, your committee will have a complete, practical event operations manual.

Live webinar component

There are 9 one-hour live webinar sessions held during the 7-week course.

These are held at 12pm AEST some Mondays (depending on course content) and every Thursday for one hour between 12pm – 1pm AEST.

Webinars are recorded so participants can watch the recordings any time during the course period.

Although not mandatory, participants are strongly encouraged to attend the live webinars if possible. The benefit of live interaction with the Course Director and other course participants is invaluable and will enhance your learning experience.
